La Valdôtaine is a small mountain distillery in the Aosta valley which draws its inspiration from traditions, where fine old copper stills produce small batches of hand-crafted spirits.
Rare mountain botanicals are infused and then carefully distilled.
Local Alpine ingredients combine with mineral-rich spring waters to give a special mountain character.

Made with The Gentian or Lutea which grows spontaneously on humid mountain soils over 1000 meters above sea level, it is known for its digestive qualities and for a characteristic bitter but pleasant taste with a long persistence.
Prepared with Gentian Major root which is dried and macerated in cooked wine.
