La Valdôtaine is a small mountain distillery in the Aosta valley which draws its inspiration from traditions, where fine old copper stills produce small batches of hand-crafted spirits.
Rare mountain botanicals are infused and then carefully distilled.
Local Alpine ingredients combine with and mineral-rich spring waters give a special mountain character.

Gentian, artemisia (wormwood) and elderflowers grow wild in Valle d’Aosta and are used in many local recipes.
La Valdôtaine Bitter combines the pleasant sharpness of artemisia with the sweet fragrance of elderflower and the bitter taste of gentian root.
To these other essences such as orange peel and licorice root are added.
The result is a perfect harmony between the freshness of the Alps and the subtle perfumes of the Mediterranean.
